Travel Notes
A quick weekend trip to see B and his family in Hida Takayama. Particularly special because it would be the first time I visit Takayama in the snow. If I'm not mistaken it is located in the Japanese Alps so the winter months are damn cold. Luckily we got some sun.
This would be the second trip with a newly purchased Yashica T4. Prior to the T4 I had a Kyocera Slim T which is essentially the same thing. Unfortunately it bit the dust when the lends would not pop out after powered on, a common fail for the T4. The lens, a Zeiss Tessar, is the main draw for these models of cameras as the camera itself is made with cheep plastic which requires a level of babying.
