Travel Notes

This was a quick tour with the band, seeing us play a string of dates in neighboring prefectures.

We spent most of our time at Shofukuji, a Buddhist temple in Yamanashi.

It's always a treat to play here over the years as our hosts are always so kind and hospitable.
We had played this particular temple a number of times but this time was special as the lighting dude pulled through with an amazing setup of a slew of clear light bulbs hanging around the band setup, lighting up the old temple and band as we played through our set.

It's always fun running around old Japanese buildings, separated by walkways and long tamami corridors.

I wasn't so familiar with the Olumpus XA before this trip besides it's positive online praise. I had bought both the XA2 and XA4 though the differences between the two models is minimal. However I was disappointed with how sensitive the cameras are to camera shake/blur. I was conscious of this in my future testing of the camera, but in the end I sold both. What good is a camera if you have to baby it?
