I arrived very early in the morning before public transport was moving.

Eventually found my way to one of my favorite places to spend a Hong Kong morning in the city, Victoria Park. Groups of people doing tai chi, runners doing their laps around the park. Just a great place to see how the city wakes up.

This trip had no particular goal besides hanging out with family. Like most trips to Hong Kong I ate very well and had little on the agenda. I remember taking more photos than normal, most likely because of the recently acquired Contax T3 I received from my coworker.

This batch of photos was the first rolls I had developed and scanned from a lab tip from my Dad. His office is located down the street and he would often see line-ups outside the labs doors. I dropped in and was surprised at how cheep it was compared to labs I was using in Tokyo. And the older guy running the shop was super nice. After this first visit I would use his services for years to come.
